In 2025, Koh Samui continues evolving as a cultural and tourist hub, replacing outdated formats with modern, eco-friendly, and inclusive music events. While the International Jazz Festival was popular in 2010–2012, it has now been replaced by new projects combining music, art, and environmental protection.
According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Koh Samui Destination Management Organization (DMO), the key trend is 'green festivals', attracting tourists who care about sustainable tourism.
