Privacy and Data Use Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026.
This policy explains data processing on the public My Thai Home website mythai-home.com. It covers property pages, projects, listings, the blog, landing pages, favourites and public contact forms. Internal staff systems are not part of the public website and are outside the scope of this policy.
1. Data you provide
Contact forms may request your name, telephone number, email address, message, property of interest and preferred messenger. Some landing pages may also attach a country, city and time zone estimated from the network address.
The public form handler creates a message and sends it to our team through Telegram. It does not create a separate contact record in the public website database. The data is processed transiently by the web server and is then subject to Telegram's storage and security practices. Please do not submit passport details, payment credentials or information that is not needed to answer your enquiry.
2. Technical data
When you access the website, hosting and security systems may process the network address, browser and device type, requested URL, referring page, request date and time, and technical errors. This information is used to deliver pages, protect the service, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.
3. Cookies and local storage
- PHP session cookie supports website operation and language selection. On HTTPS it is sent with Secure and HttpOnly attributes; the configured maximum session lifetime is approximately six months, although browser settings may remove it earlier.
- Favourites are stored in browser localStorage as listing identifiers and remain on the device until the user removes them or clears site data.
- Selected currency is stored in localStorage under a technical key and is used only to display prices.
Where favourite-event tracking is available, the website may send the listing identifier, action, domain and network address for aggregated interest statistics. This information is not used to create a public user profile.
4. Analytics and external services
mythai-home.com may use Google Analytics. The service may receive cookies, network address, device information, visited pages and interactions under its policy. Maps are provided by Mapbox; fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts; individual public pages may obtain resources through jsDelivr or estimate a region through an IP geolocation service.
Links to Telegram, WhatsApp, LINE, MAX and other external websites transfer data to the selected service only after the user follows the link.
5. Google API data
An owner-authorised SEO reporting tool may read Google Search Console and Google Analytics data, read selected Google Drive files, and create or update Google Sheets selected by the owner. Access is used only to analyse the performance of the website controlled by the owner, prepare private SEO reports and correct identified issues.
Google API data is not sold, used for advertising or disclosed to unrelated parties. It may be processed only by the owner and technical or analytical service providers acting on the owner's instructions to the extent needed to prepare reports. Access tokens are not available to public website visitors and are stored separately from public pages. Generated reports and spreadsheets are retained until the owner deletes them; OAuth access remains available until it is revoked or expires.
6. Security, retention and your requests
We restrict access, use HTTPS and apply safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. Technical logs are retained as needed for security and diagnosis; local preferences remain on the user's device; messenger messages are retained under the relevant service's rules and the team's operational needs.
You may ask about processing or request correction or deletion of submitted data, and you may revoke OAuth access in your Google Account settings. Contact us through the contact page.
7. Policy changes
We may update this policy when website features or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will always be published on this page.
